Jacklyn Mahaney was born and raised in Sioux City, Iowa, within a family that loved buying, selling, remodeling and renting out residential real estate.  Her parents and brother owned several single family and multifamily homes in Iowa during the course of their lives. This example of how real estate can create a positive impact in life led her to get licensed as a real estate agent in Arizona in 2002 and now she also holds that same privilege in beautiful South Carolina.  Jacklyn has sold millions of dollars in real estate and has been awarded as a top 10% agent in the Arizona market.  

In 2023 Jacklyn and her partner, Kevin, purchased a home on Hilton Head Island and fell in love with the people, the fresh food, the ocean, trees, and creatures (like the dolphins) that make South Carolina their home.  Jacklyn knew if she loved Hilton Head Island enough to buy a home here, she had to get her license to be able to help others do the same.   

Jacklyn’s favorite activities on the Island include walking on the beach with her cavapoo, Ayla.  She loves attending the many farmer’s markets in the area, learning the history of the Island and enjoying all the concerts and special events that the town puts on for residents and visitors alike.

Jacklyn currently services the Hilton Head Island & Bluffton markets, including Sun City & Margaritaville neighborhoods.  

“While I breathe, I hope” is written on the South Carolina license plate and it is one of Jacklyn’s favorite quotes.  It reminds her that life is good, that miracles are possible and that you should never give up on your dreams.  If your dream is to own a piece of paradise in the Hilton Head Island area, she hopes you will reach out to her for help.
